Due to previous experience in the field of contracting we are able to offer effective and practical advice to contractors and clients encompassing any aspect of construction inclusive of tendering procedures, formulation of tenders, labour content calculations, construction programming, ordering of materials, dealing with sub contractors, on site supervision, contract management, planning, construction techniques, etc.

The demand for the above service is growing and is provided extensively to the emerging builder and Clients wishing to “owner build” on a large scale.

Commercial Property Administration

The firm has been administering various properties over the last few years and the administrative staff is well versed with the day to day administration requirements such as rent collection, leases, maintenance procedures, tenant control, etc.

Property Valuations

We have found that due to requests from clients and developers that we have also needed to provide property valuation services in conjunction with feasibility studies. To this end we established an association with Mr Mike Jarman, Associated Valuer (registration no 453) in 1997 and have been providing valuation services ever since.

We have provided valuation services to Nedcor Investment Bank, Investec, ABSA Bank & East Cape Development Corporation for projects funded by them in the Border/Kei region. This, coupled with our experience on other projects as well as our previous involvement in the construction industry, provides us with a sound knowledge of the all the ingredients involved in property development, and in the formulation of feasibility studies.

Property Development

The firm works very closely with various private property development companies and is therefore well experienced in the fields of development finance, evaluation and due diligence reports, feasibility studies, replacement cost valuations, rental structures, tenant requirements, corporate specifications, land transactions, etc.

Apart from construction management discussed above the firm offers training to emerging contractors mainly in the field of costing and tendering.

Affirmative Procurement Procedures

The firm is well versed with B-BBEE and is not only well experienced with administering these requirements but is also able to offer the Client an affirmative procurement system, should they require it to be utilized as part of the contract conditions.

Financial Management

Due to the demand of certain Clients requiring to “owner build”, the firm has set up financial systems in order to deal with the buying of materials, dealing with creditors, preparing financial reports and statements, obtaining of quotes, credit control, ordering systems, invoice/delivery note co-ordination & processing, bookkeeping, etc.
