CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Arising out of previous experience in the field of contracting we offer effective and practical advice to Contractors and Clients encompassing most aspect of construction inclusive of tendering procedures, formulation of tenders, labour content calculations, construction programming, ordering of materials, dealing with sub-contractors, on site supervision, contract management, planning, construction techniques, etc.

The above service is aimed mainly to the emerging Contractor and Client who may want to “owner build”

PUBLIC SECTOR PROGRAMMES

The Practice has the experience, knowledge and expertise to implement and administer public sector programmes inclusive of community based projects, SMME participation goals and other requirements of the Public Finance Management Act

CONSTRUCTION COST REPLACEMENT VALUATIONS

The Practice provides construction cost replacement valuations to ensure that Clients have their properties adequately insured. These are generally done/updated annually to ensure that the insured values are current and relevant.

PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT

The Practice works closely with various property development companies and is therefore well experienced in the fields of development finance, evaluation and due diligence reports, feasibility studies, rental structures, tenant requirements, corporate specifications, property transactions, etc.

TRAINING EMERGING CONTRACTORS

In addition to construction management discussed above the Practice offers training to emerging contractors mainly in the fields of costing and tendering.

The Practice is well versed with B-BBEE and is experienced with the administering of these requirements as well as assisting the Client with an affirmative procurement system, should they require it to be utilized as part of the contract conditions.
